Professional first responders - fire fighters, police, ambulance and 000 operators - face extraordinary pressures in the line of duty.  The mental toll of witnessing and hearing traumatic events can lead to long-term emotional injuries, which affect not only the individiuals but also their loved ones.  Code 9 is not only here to let the first responder know they're never alone, but their children as well.
