Some helpful hints
A couple of tips and motivation to help you build up those steps and keep you walking for the entire month
- Put your exercise gear on BEFORE you make the decision to head out.
- Exercise in the morning before your brain figures out what you are doing!
- Don't say I'll start tomorrow. Start stepping NOW and see how many you do. You may just be suprised!
- No matter how slow you think your progress is you are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying.
- Remember that exercise not only changes your body. It changes you mind, attitude and mood.
- A little progress every day adds up to BIG results.
- Set an hourly timer to get up a move about. It may be a walk around the house, up to your letterbox or around the block. You'll be amazed how those steps add up!
- If you're on the phone, walk and talk!
